Monday, 5 November 2007

November 2007

Hardman Bros have launched the latest in High-Precision 5-axis control vertical machining – the Mori Seiki NMV5000.

The state of the art 5-axis control machine is equipped with revolutionary technology to respond to the need for increasingly complex workpieces. It has simultaneous 5-axis control, 12000rpm spindle, X-axis travel of 730mm, Y-axis travel of 510mm, Z-axis travel of 510mm and B-axis 340° rotation, while other manufacturers can only achieve 120°.

Hardman Bros. Production Manager, Wayne Hardman, approved the implementation of the new machine and can already foresee the benefits for the company and its customers.

“The NMV5000 is considered the world’s strongest and fastest 5-axis machine. The benefits of Hardman Bros having this machine is threefold. The range of products it can create are of the highest quality which customers will love. Secondly, the setup and operation is so easy that orders will be achieved in a quicker timeframe and reduce running costs, which means more savings for the customer. Additionally, the machine operates in an eco-friendly manner which results in using less of our natural resources.

“We are excited about what the NMV5000 can do, and how Hardman Bros can be even better equipped to satisfy the customer’s needs.”
