gb16 This is a robust heavy duty gearbox capable of 120hp at 540rpm input with a 44.45mm diameter 20 tooth spline input shaft. The output shaft has a flange for bolting the blade assembly 175mm below the deck mounting base. A seal protector is fitted to the output shaft to help prevent grass, wire or any other objects from penetrating the oil seal. The lower bearing is grease lubricated and if damaged would not effect the gears and bearings running in the oil reservoir in the upper part of the box. The shafts and gears are coupled by means of involute splines. This gearbox is suitable for slashers with a cut of no more than two metres diameter.
